Hamilton Record Contacts

This is a privately operated reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that created or maintains the record.

Hamilton Sheriff and Jail

The Hamilton County Sheriff is the first contact for a local booking, release timestamp, transfer destination, or booking record. The county has not published office hours, release-desk hours, a sheriff-specific KORA form, a fixed fee schedule, or a production-time promise. Call before visiting or sending a request.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office
Mike Wilson, Sheriff
103 W. Avenue C
PO Box 764
Syracuse, KS 67878
620-384-5616

Hours and local fees: not published

Hamilton District Court

Use the court for appearance-bond orders, dispositions, journal entries, sentences, probation orders, and public discharge or revocation orders. The clerk cannot certify the time a person physically left jail. Pair a court order with the sheriff’s release record when both the legal basis and actual exit matter.

Hamilton County District Court
Griselda Sigala, Clerk
219 N. Main St.
PO Box 745
Syracuse, KS 67878

Kansas Corrections Contacts

For a Kansas prison sentence, use KASPER first and note the KDOC number, status, institution, case number, and listed supervision office. Sentence-specific calculation questions go to the Sentence Computation Unit at 785-296-3317. Report a KASPER display correction to kdoc_pub@ks.gov.

Garden City Parole Office, South Region
816 N. Campus Drive, Suite 500
Garden City, KS 67846
620-272-3879
Automated reporting: 866-570-7225

Hamilton County is assigned to Garden City, but an individual’s residence and supervision office may differ. Verify the current office in KASPER before calling.

Notifications and Parole Decisions

VINELink help is available at 1-866-277-7477. Kansas appears in VINELink, but Hamilton County Jail participation was not independently confirmed. Test the named-person search and confirm any event with the supplying agency. KDOC Victim Services has a separate notification channel at 1-866-404-6732 or VictimWitness@doc.ks.gov.

KDOC Prisoner Review Board
714 SW Jackson Street, Suite 300
Topeka, KS 66603
KDOC_PRB_Public_Comment@ks.gov

The Board handles parole decisions and publishes monthly public-comment schedules. A parole grant is not proof of physical release; check the later KASPER status and date.

Choose the Right Record Route

Different offices answer different custody questions. Start with the event and custodian instead of sending the same request everywhere.
